Please be assured that Cornerstone Community Financial does have a Fraud prevention strategy that monitors activity for normal behavior and new fraud patterns.
If you are contacted by our Fraud Prevention Services Team, they will ask to verify transaction information with you. This system is typically automated, so don’t be alarmed if you receive this call. Along with the transactions, our Fraud Prevention partner may verify the last four digits of your card, street address, date of birth and the name on your card. Our Fraud Prevention Services Team will never ask for your CCF Account number or your PIN number. If a fraudulent transaction has been attempted on your card, the card can then be blocked to eliminate further fraudulent transactions from being attempted. If our Fraud Prevention Services Team does not receive a response from you, they may block the card immediately based on the severity of the threat.
